Welcome:
From its spectacular oceanside outpost overlooking Hanalei Bay on Kauai’s north coast, the St. Regis Princeville Resort marries tropical sophistication and serene luxury in iconic St. Regis style. The resort, which underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation in 2009, reflects Kauai’s rich culture, offering cuisine that celebrates local flavors and an array of activities as thrillingly diverse as the island itself.
You Are Here:
Fly into Lihue Airport, 32 miles south of Princeville, served by inter-island and major airline carriers. Both taxis and town cars are available to drive you to the resort. If you choose to drive, turn right onto Kuhio Highway/HI-56 and follow it for 29.6 miles. Turn right onto Ka Haku Road at the main entrance to Princeville. The resort is located at the end of Ka Haku Road.
Treat Yourself:
The 10,000-square-foot, Halele‘a Spa, or “house of joy” in ancient Polynesian, celebrates Kauai’s abundant water sources—both wai (fresh) and kai (sea)—and their healing properties. Allow ample time for a pre-treatment sensory journey, from the steam room infused with tropical aromatic essences to the invigorating waterfall showers. Personalization is de rigueur here: a trained spa consultant will craft your treatment combining indigenous healing traditions with Western techniques, utilizing fresh island botanicals and ocean ingredients. Hoping to take some of the Aloha spirit home with you? A customized wellness regime ensures optimal healing and restoration while at the resort and well beyond.
You Deserve:
The Maile Renewal Ritual. Relax in the decadent spa VIP suite and embrace a 160-minute journey that blends two traditional Hawaiian ingredients—the rare, fragrant maile leaf vine (chosen lei of Hawaiian royalty) and the humble taro plant—to revitalize and rejuvenate your mind and body. Stimulate your circulation with the Maile/Taro Body Polish, followed by a relaxing bath soak with aromatic tropical essential oils. Ease away lingering tension with the Maile Massage, where heated seashells soothe your tired muscles and the specially formulated Maile Massage Cream promotes peace and joy. Aaah. Finally, allow your feet to feel some extra love with the exotic Maile Pedicure and float out on a bliss cloud.
Stay & Play:
You may not want to leave the St. Regis, choosing to lounge in a poolside cabana or float in the vast ocean-view infinity pool. The spa features an athletic center open 24 hours; its yoga and fitness program includes an action-packed hour-long Beach Body Boot Camp workout. For the even more active, the fairways of the Makai Golf Club beckon. Explore hiking trails, cascading waterfalls, lush rain forest, and miles of white sand beaches, not to mention the famous surf breaks of Hanalei. Five eclectic restaurants offer world-class cuisine, including the westernmost outpost of celebrated chef Jean-George Vongerichten, the Kauai Grill. Ideal for weddings, receptions and other retreats, the St. Regis Princeville boasts over 12 meeting spaces and sleeps more than 500 guests.
