Healthy LivingIndustrySpas of America’s Top 100 Spas of 2017

January 24, 2018Craig Oliver

“In 2017, we continued to see steady growth in the North American spa and wellness industry, with record increased visits and revenue growth,” says Spas of America president Craig Oliver. The 2017 International Spa Association U.S. Spa Industry Study, commissioned by the ISPA Foundation and undertaken by PwC International Survey Unit, reported consumers made 184 million visits to spas in the United States, generating an estimated $16.8 billion in revenue.

“Spa and wellness consumers in the United States, Canada and Mexico want a place to relax, reduce stress and invest in one’s health,” says Oliver. “Whether guests are travelling solo or in a group, spa and wellness travel offers people a chance to focus on what is most important – their own health and well-being.”
